Reigning champions Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium as the Premier League resumed on Wednesday, June 17th.
The Premier League was suspended following the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus.
With safety precautions and no fans in attendance, the Premier League kicked off with a goalless draw between Aston Villa and Sheffield United.
The star game of the rescheduled fixtures did not disappoint in entertainment as Manchester City dominated Arsenal from start to finish.
Raheem Sterling put Manchester City ahead just before the halftime break. Kevin De Bruyne scored from the penalty spot in the 51st minute to give Manchester City a 2-0 lead.
Phil Foden wrapped up the goalscoring in the 91st minute as Manchester City claimed all three points.
