Manchester City crowned 2021 Premier League champions after Manchester United lose to Leicester City

Manchester City have been crowned the 2020/21 Premier League champions on Tuesday, May 11th.

Manchester City had a chance to confirm their victory at the weekend but suffered a 2-1 loss at home against Chelsea.

The Citizens then needed neighbors Manchester United to drop points against Leicester City to be crowned champions.

Manchester United obliged fielding an understrength side against Leicester City at Old Trafford which resulted in an away win for the Foxes.

The result also confirmed Pep Guardiola’s men as champions for the third time in the last four seasons.
