Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr believes that his team will respond positively as look to redeem themselves in the return fixture against Sierra-Leone on Tuesday.
The Franco-German admitted that his team were very complacent in the first leg at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium as they threw away a 4-goal lead in the second half which gave the visitors a famous point on the night.
However, he said the Super Eagles will learn from their mistakes and correct them as they take on the Leone Stars at the Siaka Stevens Stadium on Tuesday.
In his words;
“Everybody is vexed & determined. In the meeting, we do we’ll speak about the mistakes.
“I think during the half time the players believed it’s finished, it was not finished, it’s a good lesson for everybody.
“I am sure they will react because I know my team.”
The Super Eagles lead Group L with 7 points after three games.
