NBA players boycott Playoff games in protest of the killing of Jacob Blake

On Thursday, The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association announced that playoff games will be postponed.

It all started with the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision not to take to the floor today for their Game 5 against the Orlando Magic

That decision led to the postponement of the game five encounters involving Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers.

This decision comes after a video of a black man Jacob Blake was shoot seven times by a policeman in Kenosha, Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Before the start of the playoffs, there was a conversation between the players that they should not play games because of racism inflated by when a policeman knelt on the neck of George Floyd that resulted in his death.
