NFF re-appoint Ladan Bosso as Flying Eagles coach 13 years after (See full list of national teams coaches)
Former Niger Tornadoes of Minna head coach Isa Ladan Bosso has been named as the new coach of Nigeria’s U-20 Flying Eagles, 13 years after he last held the job.
Ladan Bosso was in charge of the team which reached the quarter-finals at the 2007 U-20 World Cup in Canada where they crashed 4-0 to Canada.
The coach drew the ire of FIFA when he accused centre-referee Howard Webb of England of racism after his team conceded all four goals in extra time after full time had ended goalless.
In a release on Friday, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced the return of Bosso with Christopher Danjuma retaining the U20 Girls’ lead role, and Bankole Olowookere emerging as Head Coach of the U17 girls, Flamingos.
