Nigerian couple wait 16 years to have their first baby, then have twins 21 days apart (see video)

A video has surfaced on social media of a Nigerian couple Mr. and Mrs. David Bankole who had been childless since they got married in 2003 until February 2019 where they gave birth to their first child, a baby girl.

15 months later, on June 19th 2020, Mrs. Bankole gave birth to her second child but started feeling movements in her stomach and told her husband but they assumed it was because she had just delivered a baby.

She kept complaining days after about the movements she experienced so they went back to the hospital and did another scan.

Mr. Bankole said: “When we did a scan prior to the delivery, it was one baby that the scan revealed” but when they did another scan, they heard the heartbeat of another baby!

He said she “gave birth to the second baby eleven minutes to twelve Friday 10th July 2020”, 21 days after the first.

Both babies, he said, were delivered naturally without complications.
