The young Nigerian lady is attempting to break Alastair Galpin, an Indonesian, who massaged for 25 hours and 4 minutes in South Kalimantan city back in 2015.
A viral video on social media showed the moment when Joyce Ijeoma collapsed live on Instagram where she was streaming her Guinness World Record attempt live.
Ms Ijeoma Joyce had done over 50 hours of the exercise according to reports before she unfortunately collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday.
As of the time of filing this report, Ms. Ijeoma has not been confirmed to have any underlying health issues.
Recall that Hilda Bacci, the 26-year-old Nigeria chef broke and set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon which was ratified by the organization.
Hilda Baci also known as Hilda Bassey Effiong cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes. She began the exercise on May 11 and ended on May 15.
The Akwa-Ibom native attempted to cook for 100 hours but more than 6 hours was deducted from the total time she submitted because she miscalculated one of her rest breaks which resulted in taking extra time for rest.
