Black players continue to be subjected to racial abuses and Nigerian striker, Simy Nwankwo is the latest victim.
Despite scoring a brace in Crotone’s 2-3 loss to Bologna on Saturday, the lanky striker was racially abused on his verified Instagram page by a user identified as “I’m_graa”
The Instagram user sent a direct message to Simy Nwankwo as he wished that his son will die of Pancreatic cancer.
The message, which he wrote in Italian is translated as; “I enjoy if your son dies of pancreatic cancer”
Simy Nwankwo went on to share the screenshot of the message on his Instagram story as he called on his followers to make the post go viral thereby making the Instagram user popular.
“Let’s make him famous because he deserves it”
The Italian FA nor Crotone has made a statement on the incident.
