Iheanacho breaks Drogba’s record as Leicester City knock out Manchester United in FA Cup (video)
Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho was the hero as Leicester City beat Manchester United 3-1 in a quarterfinal FA Cup clash between Premier League side played at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, March 21st.
Iheanacho scored from a mistake by Fred to put Leicester City ahead but Mason Greenwood equalized for Manchester United as both sides went to the break level.
In the second half, Youri Tielemans scored to put Leicester City back in front.
Iheanacho would convert a header to seal the win for Leicester City who advances to face Southampton in the FA Cup semifinals at Wembley.
By scoring two goals, No African player has scored more goals than Kelechi Iheanacho in FA Cup history as his two strikes against Manchester United takes him to 13 goals in the competition ahead of Didier Drogba on 12 goals.
