Nigerian striker Victor Olatunji wrote his name in the history book of the UEFA Champions League history on Wednesday night.

The 25-year-old striker had a very memorable performance on his Champions League debut on the night for his club side Sparta Prague.

Olatunji announced his presence with a goal and an assist as Sparta Prague brushed aside Salzburg by three unreplied goals.

The lanky striker got on the scoresheet on the 42nd minute as he arrived into the box timely before unleashing a first time shot into the left post.

The striker did the Cristiano Ronaldo popular celebration style “Siuuuuuu” to celebrate his first Champions League goal.

Victor Olatumji provided the assist to the third goal after dispossesing Salzburg defender before passing to Qazim Laci who dribbled the goalkeeper and a defender and slots the ball into the net.

Olatunji becomes the first Nigerian player to score and assist on his Champions League debut. He also becomes the third African to achieve the feat after Gabonese Daniel Cousin in 2007 (for Rangers vs Lyon) and Cote D’Voire’s Serge Aurier in 2015 (for PSG vs Shakhtat Donetsk).
