Nigeria’s Adesanya honored to be among 3 African UFC champions
There is news about Nigerian Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
Adesanya has stated how difficult it is to be an African UFC Champion.
Adesanya is one of the African UFC champions so is Nigeria’s Kamaru Usman the UFC welterweight champion and Cameroon Francis Ngannou is the UFC heavyweight champion.
In a post on his official Instagram account, Adesanya revealed he is honored to be among the three African UFC champions.
He said, “An era in the history of sports that will never be forgotten.
I am honored to be part of this trio in mixed martial arts.
There are 600+ active UFC fighters.
Less than 30 of us are Africans.
Yet 3 of us are Champions.
