Nigeria’s Hakeem Dawodu defeats Zubaira Tukhugov (video)
Nigerian born Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) rising star Hakeem Dawodu defeated Zubaira Tukhugov in an eliminator fight on Sunday, September 27th.
Hakeem who is Canadian but of Nigerian descent had to go all the rounds to record a win.
It was not a convincing performance by Dawodu but he got the win at UFC 253 to move up in the Featherweight division.
Hakeem Dawodu defeated Zubaira Tukhugov via split decision from the judges.
TGwo judges gave Dawodu the win with a score of (30-27, 29-28) while the third judge gave it to Tukhugov 28-29.
