Alex Ekubo hails from Abia State just in case you are wondering but the Nollywood actor has just been decorated with a chieftaincy title in Imo State.
He was conferred with the title of “Ikuku of Amumara” by the King of the town during the New Yam festival recently.
The title is translated as “Breeze of Amumara”
Alex Ekubor shared the video of his coronation process on his Instagram page as he called on his followers to now address him as Chief.
His post reads;
Allow me to Re-introduce myself, I Alexx Ekubo of Arochukwu, Abia State – has just been coronated IKUKU Of Amumara Town, Mbaise. IMO State. At the just concluded Iri-Ji (New Yam Festival).
