Official! Super Eagles Squad List For #AFCON2025Q Double-header Against Libya.

Super Eagles interim coach has invited 23 players for this month’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

Eguavoen handed invitations to more than a handful of players that prosecuted last month’s qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

One of Europe’s most in-form forwards and the leading candidate for the 2024 CAF Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman leads 22 other players for the home-and-away clash against Libya.

Reigning CAF Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen and Olisah Ndah are the notable absentees from the squad as they are currently injured.

Sevilla winger, Chidera Ejuke who has had an impressive start at the Spanish club this season, makes a return to the Super Eagles for the first time in three years.

The Super Eagles will take on Libya at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday 11th before playing the return fixture four days later in Tripoli.

The three-time Africa Cup of Nations champions are top of Group D with 4 points after their opening two matches.
