Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has won her second UEFA Women’s Champions League with Barcelona Femeni.
Oshoala’s previous win was in the 2020/21 season.
Barcelona Femeni defeated Wolfsburg 3-2 on Saturday, June 3 at the Philips Stadion.
Wolfsburg took the lead in the third minute after Ewa Pajor scored the first goal of the game.
Alexandra Popp added the second 34 minutes later as the German side led 2-0 at halftime.
However Barcelona Femeni came roaring back in the second half with goals from Patricia Guijarro who grabbed a brace and Fridolina Rolfo who scored the third goal in the 70th minute.
The Super Facons striker was benched for the encounter due to a niggling injury.
Oshoala scored five goals in nine UEFA Women’s Champions League games this season.
