Victor Osimhen had a brilliant performance on Tuesday night as Galatasaray took a great step towards qualifying for the second round of the UEFA Champions League.
Osimhen was on for the entire duration of the tie as the Turkish champions sank Juventus in the first leg of the round of 16 playoffs.
Although the Super Eagles striker didn’t find the back of the net but was a “torn in the flesh” of the Old Lady on the night.
The 27-year-old striker bagged a brace of assists as Galatasaray brushed Juventus aside in one of their best performances yet of the season.
The Turkish champions came from 2-1 down to seal a brilliant comeback win over Luciano Spalletti’s side on the night.
Galatasaray benefited from Osimhen’s relentless pressure on Juventus’s defence, forcing an error off Lloyd Kelly which led to the fourth goal of the night.
Osimhen grabbed his second assist on the night in added time of the 90 Sacha Boey came off the bench to seal a 5-2 victory over the visitors.
