Nduka Ugbade, a former Nigerian international, has advised Victor Boniface to learn from Victor Osimhen’s goal scoring exploits for the Super Eagles.
In a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, Nigeria defeated Sao Tome 6-0 with Boniface making his senior national debut.
The Napoli striker, who became the highest-scoring active player in the national team with his hattrick, stole the headlines with his 20th goal for the Super Eagles.
According to Completesports.com, Ugbade believes Boniface has a lot to learn from Osimhen.
“Yes, Boniface is a brilliant player and he has exhibited it with some of the goals he scored in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
“However, he’s just new in the national team and most especially in a striking position that has Osimhen. I think there is a lot he can learn from Osimhen and others because they understand the system.”
