Osimhen Scores In Eighth Consecutive League Game In Napoli Win
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has scored in the eighth consecutive Serie A game in Napoli’s victory over Empoli.
The Partenopei defeated Empoli 2-0 on Saturday February 25 at the Stadio Carlo Castellani.
Ardian Ismajili made it 1-0 in the 17th minute and Osimhen doubled Napoli’s tally in the 28th minute.
The latest victory takes Napoli closer to their first Serie A title since 1990.
Osimhen has scored 19 goals and recorded three assists in 20 Serie A games this season.
Napoli have 65 points after 24 Serie A games and they are first in the division.
