
Victor Osimhen had a brilliant performance for Galatasaray as the Turkish champions played a three-all draw away at Kasimpasa.
The Super Eagles striker bagged a brace in the six-goal thriller at the Istanbul Olympic Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Osimhen gave Galatasaray the lead from the penalty spot in the 12th minute after he was brought down in the box from a challenge.
Mamadou Fall fired a shot from close range but Fernando Muslera reacted quickly to stop the ball from going into the middle of goal as Kasimpasa sought the equalizer.
Kasimpasa goalie, Andreas Gianniotis pulled off a brilliant save to stop Abdulkerim Bardacki’s sublime shot moments later.
Galatasaray went into the break with a 1-0 lead courtesy of Osimhen’s opener from the penalty spot.
However, Tunisian midfielder Mortadha Ben Ouanes equalized from Kasimpasa with a close-range header six minutes into the second half.

Kasimpasa took the lead eight minutes later from Josip Brekalo’s deflected shot from the edge of the box.
Unfortunately, Kasimpasa’d lead lasted for a few minutes as Mario Lemina rose highest to draw Galatasaray level with a header.
Victor Osimhen’s brilliant run left him one-on-one with the goalkeeper and the Nigerian striker calmly slotted the into the back of the net to give Galatasaray the lead in the 71st minute.
The defending champions were close to securing maximum points after a thrilling encounter but Carlos Cueta’s foul on Can Keles led to a penalty after VAR review.
Harris Hajradinovic converted the penalty with less than five minutes to the end of regular time.
The match ended 3-3 as Galatasaray still lead the log with seven points momentarily but dropped points for the second consecutive game in the league.
