OTD in 2017, Anthony Joshua knocks out Carlos Takam in the 10th round (video)
On October 28th, 2017 Nigerian-born British heavyweight boxing champion defeated Cameroon born French boxer Carlos Takam.
Joshua beat Wladimir Klitschko to become the unified heavyweight champion of the world.
Joshua was supposed to face Kubrat Pulev the IBF Challenger but he suffered an injury.
Takam stepped in to replace Pulev with just 12 days’ notice.
Joshua would retain his unified WBA (Super), IBF, and IBO titles with a tenth-round technical knockout (TKO).
