The USA female football team are no don’t the best in the World having won four FIFA Women’s World Cup titles – the most by any team since its inception in 1991.
The 2019 edition saw 24 teams participate in the tournament for the first which saw teams like Jamaica, South Africa among others made are their respective debuts.
Goals courtesy of the current FIFA the best player of the year Megan Rapinoe and Rosemary Lavelle gave the United States their fourth title.
They scored 26 goals – the most by any team in the history of the tournament and on this day, thirteen of those goals were scored as they annihilated Thailand.
