Premier League side Fulham are reportedly interested in 22-year-old Nigerian and Viktoria Plzeň striker Rafiu Durosinmi.
Durosinmi continues to attract attention from not just Fulham but also a couple of other teams in the English Premier League and the English Championship.
Fulham appears to be leading the race for the signature of the talented striker. The Cottagers are looking to add Durosinmi to their Nigerian contingents: Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chuwueze.
Durosinmi is having an impressive start to the 2025/2026 football season with Viktoria Plzeň, with 12 goals across all competitions, including the Europa League, where he has two goals.
Ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Rafiu Durosinmi is in contention to make the final squad, having been named in Eric Chelle’s provisional list.
The Franco-Malian is reported to fancy the striker as he has a profile similar to first-choice striker Victor Osimhen.
Rafiu Durosinmi is tall, fast, and strong on the ball. According to sources in the Czech League, one of Durosinmi’s strongest traits is running directly at defenders while maintaining speed, balance, and precision in front of goal.
Meanwhile, Premier League teams: Burnley, Brentford, Sunderland, West Ham, and a couple of Championship sides: Ipswich, Leicester, and Southampton have also been alerted. Hull City and Derby County are said to be monitoring the progress of the striker.
Rafiu Durosinmi’s contract is said to expire in 2026, and Viktoria Plzeň would like to hold on to one of their most important asset in January as they look to compete for the Czech League and make significant progress in the Europa League.
Durosinmi is currently worth €6.6m after he joined Plzeň from Karviná in July 2023 for just €850,000.
