Popular Disc Jockey and #EndSARS activist, Obianuju Catherine Udeh who is popularly known as DJ Switch has reacted to ban on Cryptocurrencies in the country by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The apex bank in a memo signed by its Director of Banking Supervision, Bello Hassan directed all financial institutions to stop carrying out cryptocurrency-related transactions.
It also directed the bank to close all cryptocurrency accounts owned by either individuals or private entities. It also issued out a warning that any financial institutions that err will be sanctioned.
While reacting to the development, DJ Switch said it shows that the country is bereft of quality leadership. She said the country is being led by illiterates and poverty promoters.
DJ Switch advised the government to spend time in investigating sponsors of terrorism in the country rather instead of issuing out unfavourable policies.
If the ban on crypto by CBN is true ehn, it points yet again to the ill-informed, backward, poverty promoting dinosaurs leading us.
“Use your time to investigate and close accounts sponsoring terrorists in the country if you don’t know what to do!
