During his active days, each time the Super Eagles need a game-changer, someone to unlock tight and stubborn defence line, Kanu Nwankwo comes on board.

It remains a thing of wonder why most teams fail to pin him despite knowing what he’s coming to do late in the game which most often than not, win a penalty for the Super Eagles.

Kanu Nwankwo is not just a household name in Nigeria but in Africa as well in the World. He remains one of the most decorated African players to date with a handful of individual and club honours which include the Uefa Cup with Inter Milan in 1998 and Champions League with Ajax in 1995 -The first Nigerian to win it alongside Finidi George.
