For the first time in his career, Robert Lewandowski has emerged winner of UEFA’s Men’s Player of the Year Award to round off a remarkable individual season in Europe.
Robert Lewandowski scored 15 goals in 10 matches in the 2019/2020 Champions League season and he also finished top scorer in the German Bundesliga with 34 goals in 31 league appearances for Bayern Munich.
The 32-year-old also won the Forward of the Year award in last season’s UEFA Champions League where Bayern Munich emerged winners in a 1 nil victory over PSG on Lisbon.
Lewandowski narrowly missed out the European Golden Shoe award by two goals as Lazio’s Ciro Immobile emerged winner with 36 goals.
