It was a French Ligue 1 fixture between PSG and rivals Lyon.

Messi was substituted in the 76th minute for Achraf Hakimi and his reaction dominated the headlines.
The game was tied 1-1 and when removed Messi refused to shake the hand of manager Mauricio Pochettino.
PSG went on to win the game 2-1 thanks to a late header by Mauro Icardi.
