Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva is not backing down in his war of words with Liverpool fans after the Spaniard released another tweet to further aggravate the already agitated fans due to his initial tweet on Sunday.

The Spanish star, writing on his verified Twitter handle @BernardoCSilva, had said:

“And to all Liverpool fans that have nothing else to do than to come to a Man City player account, I’m also sorry for you but for the wrong reasons…😂 pathetic… go celebrate your titles, or try to find a partner, drink a beer with a friend, read a book…🤦🏻‍♂️ so many options!😅”

Expectedly, the tweet generated over 175 thousand ‘likes’, 26 thousand comments and 30 thousand retweets but it did not go down well with Reds fans who are baying for his head.

Undeterred, Silva tweeted again that:

“I guess reading a book was a bit too much for you… maybe just go for a brew 😂😂.”

 

The latest tweet is also generating reactions and Silva may expect a frozen reception when the Citizens go to Anfield next season.
