Alan Shearer has admitted that Newcastle were completely dominated by Chelsea in their 3-0 win at St. James’ Park on Saturday.
“No Mount. No Lukaku. No Werner. No Pulisic. No Kovacic. No problem for Chelsea. Battered Newcastle today. Nothing from the Toon at all.” The Toon legend tweeted as he gave the overwhelming Tuchel’s side credit, despite missing a number of big players.

The Magpies are in desperate need of fresh ideas and could be rock bottom of the Premier League if Norwich pick up a win against Leeds today.
There seems to be no honeymoon period for the new Saudi owners who have their work cut out.
Newcastle are without a manager, have one of the worst defensive records in the division and haven’t won in all competitions thus far this season.
It would have been a big ask for Graeme Jones to get a result in his second game as caretaker manager, against the current Champions League holders who have been on rampage and one of the favourites for the Premier League title.
