Luis Suarez becomes second fastest player ever to score 150 La Liga goals

Atletico Madrid forward Luis Suarez opened the scoring in the 2-0 win at Celta Vigo on Sunday to write himself into a piece of Spanish football history.

According to Opta, Suarez became the second fastest player to score 150 goals in La Liga, just behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Uruguayan departed Barcelona over the summer to join Atleti and wasted no time in finding the back of the net.

The former Liverpool forward has turned out to be one of the most prolific goalscorers behind ex-Real Madrid legend Ronaldo and former Barcelona strike partner Lionel Messi.
