Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru returns to Galatasaray (photos)
Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Henry Onyekuru has joined Turkey Super Lig side Galatasaray.
Onyekuru joins Galatasaray on loan from French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
The Super Eagles forward was confirmed as a Galatasaray player on Monday, January 25th.
The deal to bring Onyekuru back to Galatasaray was confirmed in a statement on their official Twitter account.
The message on the Galatasaray Twitter account said, “An agreement was reached with Henry Onyekuru and his club AS Monaco on the temporary transfer of the player for the 2020-2021 season.”

It's crystal clear that Onyekuru can not cut it big at a bigger club side like Monaco, that's why when he first played at Galatasaray he shine like a million star because it's an average league that's not reckon with in Europe. I problem I always have with my fellow Nigerian footballers who plied their trades abroad is that, they don't put in the extra work in order to attract bigger club sides, and even when they do sometimes they become comfortable sitting on the bench when they got there, the Turkish league can not be compared to the French league, he's only downgrading his career by going back to that league where he once played for. I wish him well anyway.
