Super Eagles in Bundesliga: Collins, Awoniyi in impressive form for German clubs

European football is gradually resuming and some Super Eagles players were in action in the German Bundesliga on Saturday evening.
Jamilu Collins saw 90 minutes action and was instrumental in Paderborn’s 1-1 draw away at RB Liepzig. The Nigerian defender also escaped a booking in the game.

In other news, former under 20 international, Taiwo Awoniyi was also in action for Mainz as they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 0-2 away from home but he failed to add to his personal tally.
Awoniyi scored his first goal after the league resumption for Mainz in a 2-2 draw against Koln last month.
