Ahmed Musa has shared what it felt like playing for the Super Eagles in 2011 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium venue for tomorrow’s AFCON Qualifier against Lesotho.
Musa is the only player among the current sect to have played in Lagos before now.
The former Kano Pillars striker was part of the team that defeated Sierra Leone 2-1 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in 2011.
While speaking about playing at the stadium again, Ahmed Musa said he had a good experience playing for the team as a young player back then and he looks forward to another one tomorrow.
In his words;
“I am happy to be in Lagos with the Super Eagles We all have memories of Lagos and the Super Eagles as a kid and to play in Lagos in 2011 was a privilege. We are looking forward to another experience.”
