Newly-invited Super Eagles player, Calvin Bassey was impressive with his song rendition as he was officially inducted into the team on Wednesday night.
The Glasgow Rangers defender did a sing-along of “Peru” – one of the latest tracks from Adropop singer, Fireboy.
Calvin Bassey got lots of cheers from his teammate as he performed the traditional rites for new players in the team.
Also, Taiwo Awoniyi did his induction ritual as he did a song by gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey.
Both players are expected to take part in one or both matches against the Central African Republic as the Super Eagles look to secure a place into the final round of qualifiction for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
