Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen sent off for the 1st time in his career
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has received the first red card of his professional career.
Osimhen was sent off in Napoli’s 1-0 away win against Real Sociedad in an Europa League encounter played on Thursday, October 29th.
The first half ended goalless but Napoli went ahead in the 56th minute when Matteo Politano converted a ball by Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso introduced Victor Osimhen for Andrea Petagna in the 61st minute looking for more goals.
In the 81st minute, Osimhen received his a yellow card for a challenge as a caution.
In the 90th minute he was given his second yellow card for another challenge and English referee Craig Pawson sent him off
Napoli held on to win the game but Osimhen will miss their next game against Rijeka scheduled for Thursday, November 5
