What a start to life at Pisa for Rafiu Durosinmi! The Super Eagles-linked striker got off to a brilliant start for Pusa in the Serie A days after completing his move from Viktoria Plzen in the winter transfer window.
Durosinmi came off the bench to make his debut for Pisa on Friday night against Atalanta and grabbed the equalizer for the home side with a brilliant header three minutes to the end of regulation time.
The 23-year-old striker beat his marker in the air as he got to the end of a cross deep into the box to secure a point for the home side against Atalanta.
Rafiu Durosinmi’s goal is Pisa’s first at home since November 7th, 2025.
He scored nine goals and provided two assists in 22 matches in the 2024/2025 season.
Before joining Pisa, Durosinmi scored 11 goals in 26 matches in all competitions.
The Nigerian striker joined Pisa from Viktoria Plzeň for €9.0m after an impressive outing with the Czech Republic side last season.
