Super Falcons Maintain 36th spot, Remain First In Africa In Latest FIFA Ranking

The Super Falcons of Nigeria did not move up nor drop in the latest FIFA ranking for March 2025—the first for the year.

World football-governing body FIFA published the new ranking on its official website on Thursday.

The nine-time African champions remain the 36th best team in the world.

The Super Falcons have been in the same spot in the last three editions of the ranking.

Nigeria’s recent poor results have also contributed to its performance on the ranking.

The team suffered a 2-1 loss to France in its last friendly match in November.

However, the team remains first on the continent, with South Africa, Morocco, Zambia, and Ghana as the other teams in the top five.
