Super Falcons star Ordega wins most outstanding female footballer of the year in Benue State (photos)
Super Falcons of Nigeria forward Francisca “Franny” Ordega has won the most outstanding female footballer of the year in Benue State.
Ordega who has been a star for the women’s national team for almost 10 years with consistency.
Ordega who is from Gboko was born in Benue State.
She has played for top sides such as Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Rossiyanka, Piteå IF, Washington Spirit, Sydney FC, Atlético Madrid and is now at Shanghai Shengli.
Ordega was proud to receive the award and took to her official Instagram account to post a message.
The message said, “Congratulations to me… I am honored for being recognized by my people of Benue state…as the Most Outstanding Female Footballer in Benue State…The award was organized by Benue Coalition for Good governance…thanking you all… proudly Benue/Tiv girl.”
