Throwback: Lyon beat Manchester City 2-1 in the Champions League (video)
Manchester City take on Lyon in the final quarterfinal fixture of the 2019/20 Champions League.
Here is a throwback to when the teams met on two occasions in the Champions League group stage last season.
The first encounter was on September, 19th 2018 in front of 40,011 fans in attendance at the City of Manchester Stadium and ended 2-1 in favour of Lyon.
Maxwel Cornet and Nabil scored to give Lyon the lead, Bernando Silva pulled one back as Manchester City lost.
The second leg was on November 27 2018 in front of 56,039 fans in attendance at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Décines-Charpieu and ended in a 2-2 draw.
Lyon’s two goals were from Cornet will Aymeric Laporte and Sergio Aguero scored for Manchester City.
