Nigeria’s Table Tennis star, Aruna Quadri has hit out at the Sports Minister, the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation over the poor treatment of athletes and unpaid houses at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics.
Aruna Quadri took to his Instagram page to call out the sports authorities believed to be the Sports Minister, Mr. Sunday Dare as well as the leadership of the NTTF.
In his words;
“I dare you all to remove me because I said the truth. Athletes were being short paid [short-changed] and nobody should complain?”
Aruna Quadri also attacked the federation for removing his coach who helped him reached the quarter-finals of the Rio 2016 games.
“You wanted me to perform.well but you removed my coach that qualified me to quarter-finals at Rio games”
The Table Tennis star lost to Brazil’s Gustavo Tsuboi on the third round of the Table Tennis event at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics.
