
Victor Osimhen is showing no sign of relenting with his imperious form as he bagged yet another goal to secure a win for Galatasaray.
The Super Eagles forward bagged his 29th of the season as Galatasaray beat Samsunspor away from home tonedge closer to retaining their title.
Osimhen doubled the lead of the reigning Turkish Super League champions two minutes into the second half.
Yunus Akgun had earlier given the visitors the lead in the 14th minute as he pounced on a rebound and buried it into the bottom corner.
Osimhen scored the second and final goal on the night a few minutes into the second half. He received a beautiful pass from Akgun and gleefully chipped the ball over the goalkeeper.
The 26-year-old takes his tally for the season to 21 league goals – two goals ahead of Istanbul Basaksehir striker Krzysztof Piatek.
Osimhen has 29 goals and five assits in 33 matches for Galatasaray in all competitions this season and has been a subject of a major summer move this summer.
Manchester United, Chelsea among other top European heavyweights are in the race to land the striker at the end of his loan spell at Galatasaray.
