Victor Boniface has deleted his Instagram post where he announced his retirement from the national team.
Earlier on, the Super Eagles striker announced retirement in an Instagram post he shared on his page after Super Eagles one-all against Russia on Friday evening on Moscow.
However, Boniface has deleted the post as he congratulated Tolu Arokodare on his first Super Eagles goal on his Instagram story.
Recall that Victor Boniface’s antecedent on social media suggest he might be pulling a prank on his followers as suggested in the earlier post.
Boniface is yet to score for the Super Eagles after 13 appearances. The Bayer Leverkusen striker made his debut for the team two years ago.
