Victor Moses, a former star for Chelsea, is reportedly AWOL after skipping out on the Spartak Moscow preseason training after his summer break.
The Super Eagles’ 2013 Africa Cup of Nations champion has yet to return to preseason training with the club following his vacation, according to the official Spartak Moscow website.
The 22-time winners of the Soviet Top League and the Russian Premier League said they were looking into the reasons behind his failure to show up for preseason practice, but they added that his contract had not been suspended.
In October 2020, Moses made a temporary loan move to Spartak Moscow, and the following year, the move became permanent.
