The late Diego Maradona left behind a truckload of memories both on and off the football pitch.

He’s not just a footballer or coach as he turned out to be after his football career, he’s also an entertainer with a good sense of humour.

During the half-time break between Nigeria and Argentina at the last FIFA World Cup in Russia, Diego Maradona shared a beautiful moment with a Nigerian female fan as they danced together inside one of the executive boxes of the Saint Petersburg Stadium.

Nigeria’s rivalry with Argentina in football dates back as far as 1994 World Cup where Nigeria lost 2-1.

The Super Eagles are yet to record a victory against La Albiceleste at the World Cup since then with four losses in four meetings between 2002 and 2018.
