The Super Eagles of Nigeria sealed their qualification for the 2002 F9IFA World Cup in Korea/ Japan thanks to a reason ding 3-0 win against arch-rivals the Black Stars of Ghana in PortHarcirt on July 29, 2001.
The Super Eagles went in front in the first minute as Victor Agali headed in a free-kick by Jay-Jay Okocha.
The lead was doubled through Tijani Babangida in the 17th minute.
Two goals became three in the 32nd minute with Babangida scoring his brace in the 32nd minute.
There would be no goals in the second half as the Super Eagles coasted to a comfortable victory.
