Chelsea’s playmaker, Willian Borges Day Silva has said his farewell to the club after spending seven years at the club.
The Brazilian midfielder joined the five-time Premier League Champions in 2013 from Russian side Anzi Makhachkala for a fee in the region of ÂŁ30m despite passing a medical at Tottenham some days earlier which sparked controversy as to which club he would sign for.
Willian announced his departure from the club in an open letter as shared the highs and lows of his time at the club. He also appreciated all his teammates, coaches and staff of the club as he indicated his intention to move on.
