Wolves Reach Agreement To Sign Super Eagles Tolu Arokodare

Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a deal in principle to sign Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare from Genk.

The deal is in the region of €27 million as Wolverhampton Wanderers add a new striker to their attacking line-up.

Tolu Arokodare will arrive the United Kingdom on Saturday to undergo his medical before signing his contract.

The 24-year-old striker joins Wolves on the back of an impressive outing with Genk last season where he emerged as topscorer of the Belgian Jupiler League.

Arokodare scored 21 goals in 40 matches and also won the Ebony Shoe as the best African player in the league.

The striker’s form has earned a call-up to the Super Eagles as he made his debut in the 2-0 win over Rwanda in March.

He scored his first goal for the Super Eagles in the one-all draw against Russia in an international friendly match in June.

The new Wolves striker is included in Eric Chelle’s squad for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
