Federal government says Food stores can open in lockdown states from 10:00 am and 2:00 pm
The Federal Government has revealed that food stores can be open in lockdown states from 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
The revelation was made by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), and Chairman of #PTFCOVID19, Boss Mustapha during the second joint press briefing on the activities of Federal Government in tackling #COVID19, at the SGF’s Conference Hall, Shagari Complex, Abuja.
To the Federal Government, lockdown states can get food every 48 hours from 10 am and 2 pm.
Aliyu SaniNational co-ordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, in his press briefing on Wednesday, April 1st in Abuja said, “For markets, only shops and stalls selling food and groceries shall be allowed to open to customers between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
“On arrival, all staff must be screened for a high temperature and all those found to have a high body temperature above 38, will be denied entry and advised to seek immediate medical attention. All deliveries for supplies and products for these supermarkets must be made between the hours of 5:00 am and 9:00 am,” Sani added
