Super Eagles Team B – the CHAN Eagles have been drawn alongside tough opponents ahead of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The draw for the 8th edition of the competition held in Nairobi, Kenya on Wednesday evening as representatives of the qualified teams gather to know their opponents.
Having defeated Ghana 3-1 on aggregate to qualify for the competition, the CHAN Eagles will face similar tough oppositions in the group stage of the competition.
The CHAN Eagles were grouped alongside defending champions Senegal, Sudan and Congo Brazaville.
After missing out on the last two editions of the competition, the CHAN Eagles will look improve on their 2014 and 2018 appearances.
The 2025 edition was billed to hold in Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya between 1 and 28 of February but has now been postponed to August by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in a statement on Tuesday.
