
Victor Osimhen, for the umpteenth time this season, put up another sublime performance as Galatasaray secured their 19th Turkish Cup title.
The Super Eagles top striker bagged a brace in the comfortable 3-0 win over Trabzonspor at the Kalyon Stadyumu in Gaziantep on Wednesday night.
Baris Yilmaz put Galatasaray ahead in the fifth minute as he latched on to Yunus Akgun’s paas before rifling the ball into the bottom left corner.

Victor Osimhen doubled the lead just a minute before halftime as he powered a low drive from a tight angle into the bottom right corner.
Yunus Akgun put the ball on a plate for Osimhen in the box in the 63rd minute as Galatasaray took a 3-0 lead.
Former Super Eagles striker, Anthony Nwakaeme pulled a goal back for Trabzonspor with fifteen minutes to go.
However, his goal was ruled for offside by the video assistant referee.
Galatasaray held on to their comfortable lead as they secured their first trophy of the season.
With his brace on the night, Osimhen now holds the record of the most goals scored by a foreign player in the history of Turkish football.
The striker currently has 35 goals across all competitions this season.
