When Chelsea and Manchester United face each other in a knockout competition there are always fireworks.

The last meeting between the two sides in the FA Cup was in the final of the 2018 edition where an Eden Hazard penalty won the game.

Here is a throwback to when they met in the quarterfinals of the 2016/17 edition on March 13, 2017.

Chelsea were led by Antonio Conte while Jose Mourinho was still in charge of Manchester United.

After Ander Herrera was shown a red card Chelsea dominated the game but it ended goalless at the halftime break.

The breakthrough came from an unlikely source defensive midfielder Ngolo Kante with a long-range strike in the 51st minute.

That would be the only goal of the game as Chelsea beat Manchester United in front of 40,801 fans in attendance at Stamford Bridge.
